How Anthisan Cream For Insect Bites & Stings works

Anthisan Cream For Insect Bites & Stings contains the active ingredient mepyramine meleate, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines.

It works by blocking histamine, the substance your body naturally makes when you come into contact with something you are allergic to.

Directions

Apply the cream to the affected area of the skin 2-3 times daily for up to 3 days.

Do not use the cream for prolonged periods.

Warnings

Anthisan Cream For Insect Bites may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Do not apply to eczema, sunburn, or broken skin.

Using/taking other medicines

If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Age restrictions

This product is not suitable for children under 2 years old.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or  pharmacist for advice before using any new medicine. 

Driving and operating machinery

Anthisan Cream For Insect Bites & Stings may cause dizziness in some cases. Do not drive or operate machinery until you feel safe enough to do so.

Storage information

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
