How Mucus Cough Relief Night Syrup works
Benylin Mucus Cough Relief Night Syrup contains the active ingredients diphenhydramine, guaifenesin and levomenthol.
Diphenhydramine is a drowsy antihistamine. It works by reducing coughing, clearing congestion and helping you sleep.
Guaifenesin is an expectorant. It loosens phlegm, making it easy to cough up.
The final ingredient, levomenthol, helps to make breathing easier by relieving congestion.
