User Guide:

Here is a simple usage guide for the A&D UT-103 Digital Thermometer:

1. Turn On: Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. The display will show a brief self-check, then it’s ready for use.
2. Position the Thermometer:
   • Oral: Place the tip of the thermometer under the tongue and close your mouth.
   • Axillary (underarm): Place the tip in the center of the armpit and ensure it’s in full contact with the skin.
   • Rectal: Apply a lubricant to the tip, then gently insert it into the rectum (mostly for infants).
3. Wait for the Beep: Hold the thermometer in place until you hear a beep, indicating the reading is complete.
4. Read the Temperature: Remove the thermometer and read the temperature on the digital display.
5. Turn Off: Press the power button to turn off the thermometer. It will also auto-shutoff after a few minutes of inactivity.
6. Clean: Clean the thermometer with alcohol wipes or warm, soapy water before storing.
