Strepsils Orange With Vitamin C – 36 Lozenges

Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C Lozenges are formulated to provide effective relief from sore throats and mouth infections, while delivering 100 mg of vitamin C per lozenge to support the immune system. The lozenges contain two antiseptic ingredients—2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol—which help combat the bacteria that commonly cause throat infections. This variety is particularly useful during colds and flu, when vitamin C levels may be depleted.

Uses 

This product is intended for the symptomatic relief of sore throats and minor mouth infections. It may also help support the immune response through supplemental vitamin C during periods of cold and flu.

Dosage and Administration

Adults and children aged 6 years and over should slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. Do not exceed more than 12 lozenges in any 24-hour period. The lozenges should not be chewed or swallowed whole. This product is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Active Ingredients (per lozenge)

• 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2 mg

• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

• Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 100 mg

Other Ingredients

Sucrose, glucose syrup, tartaric acid, orange flavour, menthol, colours (including sunset yellow E110), and water.
Contains sugar and may be unsuitable for individuals with diabetes.

Warnings and Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

• Contains glucose and sucrose: unsuitable for people with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

• Do not exceed the stated dose.

• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen.

• Store in a dry place below 25°C and keep out of reach of children.

Possible Side Effects

Strepsils lozenges are generally well tolerated. However, in rare cases, users may experience mild irritation in the mouth or throat. Hypersensitivity reactions, including rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty, may occur. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if any adverse effects are observed.
